Today our family Mourns with the passing of my Grandpa James (83) Virgil James as most knew him from Running James Rhododendron nursery with My Grandma James. Many years I spent running around the nursery or righting my bike around their circle drive way. He taught me that best sandwich ever. Cheese sandwich..Bread, mayo and cheese..don't cook it and only use Tillamock cheese. I spent a few weeks there every summer with my cousins and which with Grandpa James we stood by the road with him and his table and sign getting people to come on in and buy plants. Grandpa was a funny guy he even put up on the sign stuff like "Honk if you want the kids to Jump.."Honk if you want the kids to do cartwheels" It was all in fun...Mind you this was in HICKville and also in the 80's so the bad things that happen in today's world was way down back then. He always took Amy and I with him to the store and other nurseries to get more plants and any errands he had. We sang silly songs on the rides and just always loved being with grandpa. I remember going with him and Amy to go feed and water the animals of our uncles up in the Seattle area. That trip I think was the last long trip we took helping grandpa.
The K man was only 7 Months old the last time he saw his G-Grandpa so he never got to know him as we moved when K was 9 Months.
RIP Grandpa James. We Love you and will MISS you but you'll always be in our hearts forever. Thank you for being our Angel watching over us and Now fly off and enjoy it all. HUGS
