Hi/low moments for the week

This post is part of "Hi/Lo Thursday" on the Riggs Family Blog. Check our their blog to read everyone else's "Hi/Lo" posts.

Our Highs

We have started teaching etiquette at the table and KK is doing awesome with it. He's using his butter knife to help put food onto his fork or spoon if it just keeps sliding..doing this so he will stop using his hands. Using his napkin instead of the back of his hand. Not talking with food in his mouth.learning to remember to wait until he's done before talking. We have been doing it all week and so far this part of table manners are sticking very well. Way to go KK.

Our Lows

KK and I coming down with Sinus congestion which end up making us sound like seals. We are recovering from it now.

2nd tire issue happened again with the same tire we just replaced. I was going grocery shopping and when I got out of the car I heard this HISSING noise. I looked saw nothing but knew it was my car. Called I and he and KK had to come to my rescue. He sent me in to shop and then brought KK in once he got there so he could look at the tire. He took off the tire and puts on the spare. As he was looking at the tire he saw a puncture point. What was the odds of that. Going to the same location and the same tire a few weeks apart. BLAH.
Now I have a spare on until tomorrow when Hubby is off to take it in to get a new tire put on AGAIN.

hope you're feeling better soon! and i bet before long you'll have the etiquette police in your midst as all those things become and area where he'll "catch you" and say, mommy, mouth closed, or mommy, you're talking with your mouth full!!
it's hilarious and maddening all at the same time.
enjoy the little ones, and document all the cool stuff (wish i had had access to a blog back then!)
blessings to you as you journey through parenthood!
ps took our car in for an oil change only to have it back in the shop again as all the nice clean oil was all over our garage and making pretty rainbow patterns down our driveway. :-)
